With over 15 years of counseling experience, Jamie Berry is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who deeply understands the complexities of the human mind and heart. Her extensive journey in community mental health outpatient and employee assistance program settings has equipped her with a diverse range of skills and insights to provide support for individuals on their path to healing and growth.


Jamie’s credentials are a testament to her unwavering commitment. She holds certifications as a National Certified Counselor, Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and Qualified Substance Abuse Professional. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue multiple degrees—a B.A. in History from Southern Illinois University, a B.S. in Human Development from Illinois State University, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Capella University, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University. This extensive educational background ensures that she approaches her practice with a holistic perspective, valuing the integration of personal history and individual experiences.


Specializing in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment concerns, stress management, LGBTQ+ issues, and grief and loss, Jamie provides compassionate care to both adolescents and adults. She firmly believes in a client-centered and solution-focused approach, tailoring her methods to suit each person's unique needs. During sessions, Jamie skillfully incorporates a variety of evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing, to facilitate personal growth and transformation.


Beyond her clinical expertise, Jamie is also trained in trauma services, enabling her to support individuals and companies through the aftermath of significant events. Through debriefing and psychoeducation, she assists people in navigating the complex emotions and challenges that arise in the wake of trauma, empowering them to find their way towards healing and resilience.


Jamie's dedication to her clients' well-being extends beyond the therapy room. Currently, she is working alongside Ruthie, a miniature labradoodle from Grafelman Farm Rescue, a certified therapy dog.
