Amanda Donald has over 12 years of counseling experience and more than two decades of assisting individuals and families facing mental health and behavioral challenges, Amanda Donald is a highly skilled and dedicated professional. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Illinois State University and a Master's


Degree in Human Development Counseling from Bradley University.

Amanda's career journey has equipped her with a deep understanding of the human psyche and a wealth of knowledge in fostering personal growth. During her tenure in the Foster Care setting, she served as a caseworker, clinician, and supervisor for ten years, making a significant impact on the lives of those she worked with. Additionally, Amanda has been a Rehabilitation Counselor for individuals with disabilities within the Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services.


Amanda's empathetic approach spans across various age groups, from teenagers to seniors, as she focuses on promoting overall health and well-being. Her areas of expertise encompass a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, social skills training, stress management, adjustment issues, relationship challenges, and the delicate process of grief and loss. Amanda draws upon evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, client-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy to tailor her approach to each individual's unique needs.
